Hi! My name is Joe Forish and I started Fortrove Partners to help technologists deal with challenges of company ownership / equity compensation. From a young age, I learned about maximizing hard work and doing what you do best while working at my father’s auto dealership. I also saw first-hand both the rewards and challenges of running a business. Prior to Fortrove, I honed my expertise investing in public and private equity. I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Finance and International Business, and from the Harvard Business Analytics Program, with Distinction. In my free time you will find me skiing an evergreen tree-lined run or longboarding when it’s cloudy and glassy. I live in New York City with my wife Linda.

Christopher Gething founded Atherean Asset Management LLC in 2014 as an independent investment advisory firm after working as a financial adviser at various firms including MetLife Securities since 2006. He is also the managing member of the general partner to the Atherean Value Fund, LP, a value-oriented long-short equity fund which was formed in 2023. Prior to working in investment management he worked as an engineer at companies including ABAQUS, Inc, now part of Dassault Systèmes. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and is also a Certified Financial Planner practitioner. He has Sc.B. and Sc.M. degrees in engineering from Brown University, and did graduate work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a member of Sigma Xi. Atherean Asset Management LLC offers investment advisory, portfolio management, and financial planning services to individuals, high-net-worth clients, pension and profit-sharing plans, corporations, trusts, and investment funds. The firm manages customized separately managed accounts and a private pooled vehicle, Atherean Value Fund, LP, using an equity-centered approach that combines strategic asset allocation, tactical adjustments, and fundamental valuation.

Eric Schwartz is a Senior Financial Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with over seven years of experience supporting clients through retirement planning and broader financial decision-making. His work spans retirement income planning, insurance planning, estate considerations, tax-aware strategies, and comprehensive financial planning. Before joining Retirable, Eric held planning and leadership roles at several financial firms, including Drucker Wealth Management and Mid Atlantic Retirement Planning Specialist. Across these roles, he worked closely with individuals and families to develop and monitor long-term financial strategies, with a particular focus on retirement transitions and ongoing planning needs. Eric earned a bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning and Finance from the University of Delaware. He obtained his CFP® certification and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation in 2022, reflecting his commitment to professional standards, fiduciary responsibility, and ongoing education. Eric takes a holistic approach to financial planning, working with clients to understand their goals, concerns, and financial circumstances so they can move forward with clarity and confidence as they plan for the next stage of life.
