My path into financial services began earlier than most. In high school, I worked as a bank teller and quickly discovered I enjoyed helping people make sense of their financial lives. After college, I briefly worked in the insurance industry before being recruited by PaineWebber. My first day as a financial advisor was September 10, 2001. The next day changed the world. In the weeks and months following September 11th, people were not merely asking about markets or investments. They were asking deeper questions: What does this mean for my family? Am I going to be okay? How do I protect the people I love? That experience shaped the way I understood financial advice. It was never simply about numbers on a page. It was about helping people find clarity during uncertain times. That lesson became even more personal after watching my own family struggle through the emotional fallout of inherited wealth after the deaths of my great-grandmother and grandmother. I saw how money, when not thoughtfully planned for, can create tension, resentment, and division among people who should be bound together by love and shared history. Those experiences are a large part of why I do this work today. I am deeply interested in helping families build and preserve multi-generational wealth, but not merely for the sake of accumulating assets. Wealth should serve the family, not fracture it. Done well, financial planning can become a bridge between generations—a way to pass down not only resources, but wisdom, stewardship, and a sense of shared purpose. At its best, my work is about helping families create financial independence today while preparing future generations to receive wealth with responsibility, gratitude, and perspective. Like a well-built estate, the goal is not just to withstand the next storm, but to give the next generation a stronger foundation from which to build.

With more than three decades of experience in financial services, investment management, and financial planning, Bryan helps families coordinate their wealth, taxes, retirement planning, and long-term legacy goals.
Bryan has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional since 2006 and is also an Enrolled Agent, a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor, a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Pro, and a member of Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor Group.
His path into financial services began in high school, when he worked as a bank teller and discovered an early interest in helping people navigate financial decisions. After college, he worked in the insurance industry before being recruited by PaineWebber. His first day as a financial advisor was September 10, 2001. The events of September 11th, and the questions clients asked in the days following, shaped his belief that financial advice is ultimately about helping families make wise decisions in uncertain times.
That belief became more personal after Bryan watched inherited wealth create strain within his own extended family. Today, much of his work centers on helping families build multi-generational wealth without allowing money to damage the relationships it was meant to support. Like a well-built bridge, good planning should help one generation cross safely while leaving the next generation on firmer ground.
Prior to founding Almega, Bryan held roles with Bank of America, Farmers Insurance, UBS PaineWebber, and Summit Wealth Management. He also served as a Deputy Sheriff and received the Purple Heart after being wounded in the line of duty.
Bryan studied Economic Philosophy at the University of Arizona and Financial Planning through Boston University, and he has completed additional coursework in Adult Education through Rio Salado College. He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his wife, Sarah. Their youngest son attends Notre Dame Preparatory, and their oldest son attends High Point University.

For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.
Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor. We receive compensation from certain participating advisors for introductions or referrals. This creates a conflict of interest because we have an incentive to recommend advisors who compensate us, including those who pay us more.
