Christopher Leone serves as a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Since joining the firm in 2000, he has worked with a wide range of clients, including dentists, physicians, business owners, and families, providing wealth management services tailored to their financial goals. His expertise encompasses trust, estate, and long-term planning, as well as specialized areas such as divorce transition planning, family wealth management strategies, retirement income, tax minimization, and services for defined benefit plans and non-profits.
With a career in financial services beginning in 1998, Christopher is a founding member of the GL Group, a wealth management group based in Rochester, NY. He holds several professional designations, including Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Benefits Consultant (RBC). Christopher earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from SUNY Brockport, where he also serves on the Business Advisory Council.
Outside of his professional activities, Christopher is engaged with his community through ongoing involvement with SUNY Brockport, St. Joseph’s in Penfield, and McQuaid Jesuit High School, where his two sons attend. He resides in Penfield, NY, with his wife and children, and his personal interests include boating, golfing, skiing, soccer, and traveling.
