About

I started with a major Wall Street firm in 2002. I built a successful practice over the 20+ years I was there. Then, i realized that I loved the work, but i didn't love the environment or the platform. I decided to take a risk and bet on myself. I gave up the security and income of the large firm, and took their sunset plan in 2023. In 2026, I started my own Solo RIA, creating a full fiduciary, flat fee practice that seeks to help those that Wall Street left behind. Furthermore, I've created a practice and a lifestyle that supports my belief in financial education as a key part of a path to financial freedom for everyone.

In addition to running my practice, I teach at the community college level, and also consult with an online platform dedicated to do-it yourself planners and investors. I do these things because I believe that planning and good advice shouldn't be limited to those with large investment accounts. I want to help business owners, executives, or younger people who might not have the liquidity to attract the attention and expertise of experienced planners at large firms. I believe in the profession and have dedicated a lot of my time supporting the industry, highlighted by a seven year volunteer position with the CFP Council on Examinations as a volunteer. At the college level, I've taught underrepresented populations, including classes at the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, and the Deer Ridge Correctional Institution. All of these experiences show my dedication to my belief in financial education as a differentiator and a way to financial equality.

Alongside Financial Partners

Hi, I'm Meg! I'm a financial planning fanatic, devotee of helping people live the life of their dreams, a meticulous analyzer, and purveyor of meaningful conversations. My clients find me warm, patient, sharp, and reliable. I work with a limited number of families to ensure I have maximum capacity to think critically, analyze, and personalize my services for each client. Taking a comprehensive approach to financial planning is critical. All aspects of financial planning are fun and interesting to me, but my absolute favorite type of work is helping folks achieve financial independence/early retirement, tax planning, and coordination with multigenerational families. Please take a look at my website, linked to the left, to learn more about my process, approach, services, and history.

For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.

Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor. We receive compensation from certain participating advisors for introductions or referrals. This creates a conflict of interest because we have an incentive to recommend advisors who compensate us, including those who pay us more. You pay no fee to use our matching service, and advisor fees are not increased because of a referral or introduction. We do not review the ongoing performance of advisors, manage or hold assets, guarantee performance, or provide advice about specific investments.
