David De Cerbo is a Senior Resident Director and Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill, where he has been serving clients since 1998. In his role, he focuses on creating and managing wealth management strategies tailored to individual needs. He works with high-net-worth clients, closely held businesses, and leads efforts with foundations, endowments, and nonprofit organizations. His responsibilities include discretionary investment portfolio management, asset allocation, investment selection, and performance monitoring to help clients achieve their financial objectives.
David holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University. He has earned multiple professional designations, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), CERTIFIED PLAN FIDUCIARY ADVISOR (CPFA), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Accredited Financial Advisor (RAFA). He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Residing in Metuchen, New Jersey, David is active in his community, serving on the board of the Metuchen Golf & Country Club and participating in the Knights of Columbus. In his personal time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
