Gregory Katulka serves as Senior Resident Director and Wealth Management Advisor, bringing over 28 years of experience in wealth management. He began his career with Morgan Stanley and has been with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management since 2010. Gregory holds multiple professional designations, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®), and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®). He holds Series 7, 9, 10, 31, 63, and 65 FINRA registrations.
His expertise encompasses financial planning in retirement, investment, tax, estate, insurance, and cash flow strategies. Gregory specializes in serving the sophisticated needs of high-net-worth individuals and families, focusing on wealth preservation, tax-efficient planning, concentrated stock management, charitable giving, and legacy planning. He also assists business owners with exit planning to maximize enterprise value and align goals before ownership transitions. He integrates financial planning, private wealth management, and exit planning to help clients build, preserve, and transfer wealth across generations.
Gregory earned a bachelor's degree in education from Georgia State University and completed his CPWA® certification through Yale School of Management's Wealth Management Theory & Practice Executive Education program. He is actively involved in his community, serving as a board member and Past Board Chair for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier. For his contributions to the organization, he was a finalist for the Volunteer of the Year Award by the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation in 2015. He has also been named to the Forbes "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" list from 2022 to 2026. Outside of his professional work, Gregory enjoys baseball, golf, fly fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
