Hossain Varzi is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Since beginning his financial services career in 1981, his focus has been portfolio management, specializing in asset allocation recommendations and portfolio construction/security selection. He has served on the Portfolio Management Advisory Councils of both Oppenheimer and Morgan Stanley prior to joining Merrill Lynch.
Varzi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Kennesaw State University and has obtained Certifications of Portfolio Management from The Babson School of Executive Education, DePaul University, and The University of Chicago Booths School of Business. He is also a Certified Investment Management Analyst® awarded by the Investments & Wealth Institute™ in conjunction with the Wharton School of Business. His professional designations include Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), Certified 401(k) Professional (CKP), CERTIFIED PLAN FIDUCIARY ADVISOR (CPFA), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Benefits Consultant (RBC). In recognition of his work, he was named to the Forbes "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" list in 2026 for the eighth consecutive year.
Beyond his professional career, Varzi is involved in his community, serving on the Executive Board of The Alliance Theatre and having previously served on the Board of Trustees of The Atlanta International School. He is also associated with The Woodruff Art Center. He resides in Atlanta with his wife, Roxanne, and two daughters, Leila Kristina and Sofia Grace. His personal interests include skiing, mountain biking, music, and traveling.
