My name is Trishul Patel, CFP®, MBA. I’m a fee-only financial planner based in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and the founder of Investing Forever Advisory, a 100% virtual financial planning and investment management firm serving clients across the country. I achieved financial independence before age 40 by saving aggressively, investing thoughtfully, and being intentional about what mattered most to me. I’ve always been an entrepreneur, investor, and problem solver at heart. As a kid, I soldered analog circuits, built computers, and programmed simple games. That curiosity eventually took me to Cornell University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Engineering, and an MBA. My professional career has taken me through technology, banking, trading, and investment management. I designed large-scale financial applications for major global banks, managed an exotic options book for a private firm in Southeast Asia that generated more than $750 million in sales over three years, and later served as a hedge fund portfolio manager responsible for more than $100 million in assets. Those experiences taught me to think critically, question assumptions, and look beyond conventional answers. Today, I bring that same mindset to financial planning. I enjoy taking complex financial problems, understanding what really matters, and turning them into clear, practical decisions. What motivates me most is helping people use money intentionally to create the life they want. I’m endlessly curious, enjoy thoughtful debate, and genuinely love learning about investing, markets, technology, and the many ways people define a successful life. When I’m not helping clients pursue their financial and investment goals, you’ll usually find me writing, podcasting, biking, and hiking with my wife and daughter.
