John Sullivan is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Since beginning his career as a Financial Advisor in 1995, he has focused on creating strategies tailored to clients’ risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity requirements, and investment goals. He works primarily with high-net-worth individuals, their families, and businesses to address both short- and long-term financial objectives.
John’s process involves a consultative approach where he first listens and reviews clients’ financial situations and goals. He then recommends asset allocations aligned with their income and growth expectations, followed by ongoing discussions on various opportunities including investments, retirement, estate planning, and philanthropy. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., as well as the CERTIFIED PLAN FIDUCIARY ADVISOR (CPFA), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Accredited Financial Advisor (RAFA) designations.
He earned a bachelor's degree from The University of Georgia, graduating in 1992. Outside of work, John spends time with his wife and children, and enjoys reading, golfing, and flying.
