We’re a different kind of wealth management firm.
Mandala Financial Advisors was founded on the principle that progressive-minded people deserve financial guidance that helps them succeed without compromising what they value—a more sustainable and just world.
Our clients come to us at all stages of life, each with unique circumstances and goals. But they tend to share a few things: They value personal wellness, are lifelong learners, and care deeply about their communities and the world around them. Many are academics, medical professionals, nonprofit leaders, and business owners or entrepreneurs. Most are women. They tend to be thoughtful, compassionate, community-minded people who believe in “thinking globally and acting locally.”
Our mission is to help you maximize the likelihood of achieving your financial goals, replace financial stress with greater confidence and wellness, and empower you to create positive social and environmental change.
We use holistic financial planning to bring all facets of your financial life together into a personalized roadmap. Just as important is the ongoing coaching we provide, helping clients make thoughtful financial decisions as their lives evolve.
For clients who want their investments to reflect their values, we use a rigorous process to evaluate ESG and sustainable investment strategies that balance financial objectives with social and environmental priorities. As a fee-only Registered Investment Adviser, we are compensated solely by our clients—not through commissions for selling products.
I have more than 25 years of experience providing sophisticated, caring financial guidance and am a CFP® professional. I earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Mathematics from Loyola University Chicago.
I’m openly gay, an experience that taught me early in life to embrace what makes each person unique. I’m passionate about community service, the environment, human rights, and the arts. I’m also an outdoor and fitness enthusiast and a student of secular Buddhism—always learning and growing.
