Why did you become a financial advisor?

I became an advisor because I believe everyone deserves trustworthy, judgment-free financial guidance, no matter how much money or debt they have (or don't have). I want people to make life decisions from a place of empowerment, not from feeling trapped by their finances. I'm grateful to work for a firm that shares that belief and mission.

About

Joy joined The Financial Gym in 2017 as a Certified Financial Trainer. She worked with people at every stage of their financial lives. Some were just getting started, some were paying off debt, and others were growing their wealth or planning for big life changes. In each case she helped them make confident, informed choices that fit their own goals.

After passing the Series 65 exam in 2024, Joy became an Investment Adviser Representative. She serves clients through Connective Wealth Partners, LLC (“CWP”), an SEC-registered investment adviser that operates The Financial Gym Advisors and Private Wealth Collective as d/b/a names.

Joy holds a B.S. in Advertising and Marketing Communications from Johnson & Wales University. Before she started in personal finance, she spent five years at creative advertising agencies, including BBDO New York and Burns Group. She worked on campaigns for household brands such as Mars Chocolate (M&M’s and Dove), Yellow Tail wine, Post Foods and Ricola. Studying what drives people to buy shapes how she thinks about behavioral finance today. She helps clients understand the “why” behind their spending and saving habits, so they can make money decisions with more clarity and confidence.

Connective Wealth Partners is an SEC-registered advisory that provides discretionary wealth management and financial planning services to individuals, high-net-worth clients, trusts, and estates. The firm employs a fundamental analysis investment approach with a long-term orientation and manages diversified portfolios including ETFs, equities, bonds, mutual funds, and alternative investments.

For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.

Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor.
