He has been a member of the Illinois CPA Society since 1984 and is active in several professional organizations including the Investments and Wealth Institute and the National Association of Plan Advisors. Karl has also been involved in various community and philanthropic activities, serving on boards for local hospitals, colleges, and charitable organizations, including contributing to the Lurie Children's Hospital new hospital steering committee and co-founding several 501(c)(3) charities. His personal interests include cooking, music, reading, and spending time with his family.
