N Sean Longo is a Senior Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and a partner of The Morrison, Longo & De Stefano Group. Since beginning his career at Merrill in 2005, he has focused on helping clients develop personalized wealth management strategies that address their unique financial objectives and concerns. Sean leads the group's investment committee, collaborating with colleagues and clients to implement customized investment plans that consider risk tolerance, investment timeline, liquidity needs, and both short- and long-term goals. His expertise includes executive compensation, family wealth management strategies, liquidity management, philanthropic planning, portfolio management, socially responsible and ESG investing, individual and corporate investment strategy, and tax minimization.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State University and has earned several professional designations, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™), Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA™), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Benefits Consultant (RBC). He has also been recognized on Forbes' "Best-in-State Next Gen Advisors" list in 2019. Sean resides in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, with his wife Alicia and their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, cooking, playing the guitar, and running.
