Reginald Lamb is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Since beginning his financial advising career in 2015, initially with Waddell and Reed before joining Merrill in 2017, he has specialized in helping individuals, families, and small business owners make sound financial decisions and manage their wealth responsibly. His areas of focus include college education planning, divorce transition planning, family wealth management strategies, personal retirement planning, portfolio management services, and philanthropic planning, among others.
Prior to his career in finance, Reginald was a professional classical musician. Starting his professional career at age 16, he held principal bassist positions with several orchestras, including the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, Portland Symphony, Rhode Island Philharmonic, and Vermont Symphony. He has performed with notable artists such as Yo-Yo Ma and Jonathan Biss. Reginald’s musical background contributes to his approach as a financial advisor by shaping his skills in listening, attention to detail, and collaborative client service.
Reginald holds a Bachelor's Degree from Bob Jones University and a Master's Degree from Johns Hopkins University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP) and a Personal Investment Advisor (PIA). Outside of work, Reginald lives in Massachusetts with his wife, three children, two dogs, several fish, and a bearded dragon. He is actively involved in his community through Westgate Church and has personal interests in camping, chess, fishing, football, gardening, hiking, music, reading, rock climbing, soccer, and rock hounding.
