Richard Walesch Jr. is a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill based in Stuart, Florida. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1996 and transitioned from Smith Barney to Merrill in 2009. Richard holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designations, both registered certification marks of The College for Financial Planning Institutes Corp. He also earned his High School Diploma/GED from Jupiter, Florida.
Richard focuses on developing customized financial strategies for individuals, families, and business owners. He works closely with clients to understand their goals and develop personalized plans addressing wealth preservation, growth, legacy planning, and other unique financial objectives. His client focus areas include college education planning, family wealth management strategies, legacy planning, managing new wealth, personal retirement planning, philanthropic planning, tax minimization, and retirement income.
Originally from Milford, Connecticut, Richard and his wife Amy reside in Jupiter with their two children, Karlee and Ricky. The family are members of Jupiter First Church. Outside of work, Richard is involved in the local community through JTAA Youth Sports and JTAA Baseball (Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association). He enjoys activities such as baseball, boating, fishing, golfing, soccer, swimming, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
