Robert Bradshaw is a Wealth Management Advisor and Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He is the founding member of The Bradshaw Wealth Management Group and brings extensive experience in working with high-net-worth families, trustees, owners of closely held businesses, nonprofit organizations, and administrators of corporate retirement plans. Robert helps clients design specific wealth management and investment strategies by understanding their financial and family wishes, analyzing their assets, liabilities, estate planning needs, and tax circumstances. He believes that the structure of an estate can provide clients with more flexibility and potentially reduce tax and legal obligations.
Robert began his career in financial services in 1999 and joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2002. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. and is a qualified Portfolio Manager. Robert received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Coker College in Hartsville, South Carolina. He has been recognized on the Forbes "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" list annually from 2018 through 2026.
Robert lives in Virginia Beach with his wife, Megan, and their three sons. Outside of his professional work, he has been involved in community organizations, including serving on the board of directors for The First Tee of Hampton Roads and as a past president of the Bennett's Creek Sertoma Club, which focuses on assisting hearing-impaired children in the Tidewater Region of Virginia.
