Before launching Refined Wealth, I completed the CFP® education program at Rice University and gained hands-on experience at two Houston firms, where I was part of teams that collectively served over 250 families and oversaw more than $650M in client assets. I also earned advanced certifications in tax planning (TPCP®) and retirement income planning (RICP®) to deliver more targeted advice. Now I’m building the firm I’d want for myself, my family, friends, and former colleagues. Brian Campbell is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, bringing experience since 1983. Brian's expertise includes family wealth management, personal retirement planning, and special needs planning, supported by access to specialized teams for wealth structuring, trust and estate planning, philanthropy, business succession, and specialty asset management. Brian holds Series 3, 5, 7, 8, 15, 31, 63, and 65 FINRA registrations and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™) designation. He is a qualified Senior Portfolio Advisor in Merrill Lynch’s Investment Advisory Program and completed the Merrill Lynch Longevity Training Program at the University of Southern California Davis School of Gerontology. A graduate of St. Francis College and a former United States Marine Corps Officer, Brian combines his education and military experience to deliver disciplined, math-based investment processes. Active in community and professional organizations, Brian supports the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation, the Disability Advocacy Network, the Military Support Assistance Group of Bank of America, and is a member of The Army Navy Club in Washington D.C. and the Order of Malta, USA. Outside of work, he enjoys boxing, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Jon Solo has built his career advising high-net-worth families and business owners, with a focus on helping them manage the complexity that comes with significant wealth. His experience centers on protecting client wealth, managing risk, and bringing thoughtful, strategic judgment to the tax, estate, and investment decisions that shape long-term financial outcomes. He has successfully grown Live Oak Wealth Management into a wealth management firm serving affluent clients with complex financial needs. Through that work, he has developed deep experience helping clients address the issues that often become more important as wealth grows, including tax planning, trust and estate planning coordination, risk management, and aligning investment decisions with each family's objectives, priorities, and long-term goals. Jon also specializes in the development of algorithmic and AI-driven quantitative trading strategies and possesses deep knowledge of the digital asset space. His technical background gives him an investment perspective grounded in disciplined risk management and informed by emerging technologies, while his use of AI and collaboration with leading outside tax and estate specialists helps clients bring order to complexity with greater insight, efficiency, and coordination. Prior to starting Live Oak Wealth Advisory Group in October 2010, he served as a financial advisor with RBC Wealth Management beginning in October 2007. He also spent the early part of his career in the Information Risk Management group of KPMG, where he developed a strong foundation in risk management and the importance of evaluating issues carefully and addressing risk from multiple angles. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Outside of his professional work, Jon enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He is also committed to supporting charitable organizations dedicated to helping at-risk children.

Wallace Burgoyne is a CFP® with 34 years of industry experience, currently serving as an advisor at Symphony Financial, Ltd. Co. since 2014. He also maintains a long-standing affiliation with LPL Financial LLC dating back to 2003. Outside of his advisory roles, Burgoyne is involved in non-variable insurance sales in Houston, TX. Symphony Financial, Ltd. Co. offers discretionary investment management, financial planning, and consulting services to individuals, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, and business entities. The firm employs a long-term investment approach combining fundamental and technical analysis, tailoring portfolios to client risk profiles and objectives, and supports ERISA 3(21) retirement-plan work alongside traditional portfolio management.

Connor Benson is an Investment Advisor and Banker with J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Houston, TX. He has over 12 years of industry experience working in institutional asset management, sales & trading, and comprehensive planning. His prior roles include positions at BBVA Securities, McGriff Insurance Services (Marsh & McClennan Conpany), Regions Bank, and Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He is employed by both JPMorgan Securities and JPMorgan Private Bank, enabling him to offer a range of banking products alongside investment services. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC provides institutional consulting services to corporations, foundations, and defined contribution plan sponsors, delivering asset allocation advice, investment manager searches, and customized reporting. The firm combines large institutional advisory operations with brokerage and investment management capabilities, offering non-discretionary wealth advisory services supported by a centralized due-diligence framework.
