Ryan Conners Copeland is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He has over 22 years of experience in private client asset management, having started his financial services career in 2000 with a New York-based wealth management firm operating out of the San Francisco office. Since joining Merrill Lynch in 2009, Ryan has focused on developing strategies and providing advice for individuals, their families, and their businesses by understanding their short- and long-term financial goals. He collaborates closely with clients' tax and legal advisors to integrate tax and estate planning for long-term investment success.
Ryan holds a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification earned in 2005 and maintains Series 7, 31, 63, and 65 FINRA registrations. He is involved professionally as a member of the East Bay Estate Planning Council and the Estate Planning Council of Diablo Valley, having also served on the latter’s board. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of California at Davis, where he double majored in History and Political Science and received academic honors including multiple appearances on the Dean’s list and membership in the Phi Alpha Theta History honor society.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Ryan resides in Orinda with his wife and two children. He contributes to his community as a youth baseball coach and is active in coaching youth soccer as well.
