Salvatore Romano is a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and a founding member of The SEAM Wealth Management Group, which was established when he and five colleagues joined Merrill in 2017. Over his career spanning more than 30 years, Sal has developed extensive experience working with clients across the country, building long-term relationships that often extend across generations. His professional journey includes roles at American Express, Charles Schwab, and two decades as a private wealth advisor at Ayco Company, L.P., a Goldman Sachs affiliate.
Sal specializes in a range of services including corporate executive services, family wealth management strategies, retirement income planning, tax minimization, philanthropic planning, and small business strategies among others. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation from the College for Financial Planning, as well as the Personal Investment Advisor credential. Sal integrates a planning-based approach in his work, guiding clients from initial discussions through to implementation and positive financial outcomes.
Sal graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Business Administration. He grew up involved in his family’s restaurant business, gaining insight into the challenges faced by business owners. Outside of his professional life, Sal enjoys cooking, golfing, and spending time with his wife Maria and their three children, including a son who served with the U.S. Army Mountain Division. He is also involved in supporting organizations such as St. Jude’s, The U.S. Army, and Wounded Warriors.
