Scott Young is a Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1999 after completing graduate studies in 1996. Scott holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and is a Personal Investment Advisor (PIA). He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master's degree from the University of North Carolina System.

Scott has served on the board of the American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer and volunteers with the Crisis Control Ministries' Crop Walk. He is a member of the Winston-Salem Estate Planning Council. Scott lives in Winston-Salem with his wife and two children.
