0% LowI’m Stephanie Trexler, CFP®, and founder of Golden Goose Wealth Planning, a fee-only financial planning firm based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
I built Golden Goose to be the kind of financial planning firm I wanted women to have access to: a place where you can ask every question, talk openly about what’s happening in your life, and leave feeling more confident about what comes next.
I specialize in helping women navigate financial transitions, particularly divorce, the loss of a spouse, receiving an inheritance, taking a more active role in household finances, and building or owning a business. These moments often come with a lot more than financial decisions. There can be grief, uncertainty, excitement, fear, and about a hundred questions you never expected to be asking. My job is to help turn all of that into a clear, actionable plan.
My background also includes a master’s degree in Advanced Financial Planning with an emphasis in Financial Therapy, which shapes the way I work with clients. Money decisions aren’t made in a spreadsheet. Our experiences, relationships, goals, and emotions all influence how we think about money, so I believe great financial planning needs to account for both the numbers and the person behind them.
Outside of Golden Goose, I’m a wife, mom, and founder of Once Upon a Room Grand Rapids, a nonprofit that creates personalized room makeovers for children facing extended hospital stays. I love being involved in my West Michigan community, spending time with my family, and probably taking on one too many projects at a time.
At the end of the day, I want my clients to feel like they have someone in their corner who knows their financial life, understands what matters to them, and can help them make smart decisions through whatever comes next.

We'll help you think it through—whether you ultimately need an advisor or not. Warmer helps you compare advisors clearly, so you can choose with confidence.
For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.
Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor. We receive compensation from certain participating advisors for introductions or referrals. This creates a conflict of interest because we have an incentive to recommend advisors who compensate us, including those who pay us more. You pay no fee to use our matching service, and advisor fees are not increased because of a referral or introduction. We do not review the ongoing performance of advisors, manage or hold assets, guarantee performance, or provide advice about specific investments.
By using our service, you agree to our Terms of Service and Advisory Agreement, and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Please review FHQ’s ADV Part 2A and Form CRS. Logos provided by Logo.dev
