Stephen Mersinger is a Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Since joining the firm in 2010, he has focused on assisting families, corporate executives, business owners, and athletes with customized wealth management plans aimed at supporting their lifestyles and future goals. His client focus areas include college education planning, corporate benefits, family wealth management strategies, endowments, foundations and non-profits services, investment consulting for defined contribution plans, legacy planning, personal retirement planning, portfolio management services, socially responsible and ESG investing, and sports and entertainment.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with dual minors in Finance and Marketing from York College of Pennsylvania. He has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) certification, the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC™) designation, the CERTIFIED PLAN FIDUCIARY ADVISOR (CPFA), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Accredited Financial Advisor (RAFA) designations. He is a member of the York College of Pennsylvania Sponsorship Board.
Beyond his professional work, Stephen has remained involved in the lacrosse community. He was a member of the York College Lacrosse team, becoming the program's first All-American and Scholar All-American in the same season, and was inducted into the college's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2021. He has served as a varsity assistant coach for the Mount St. Joseph Lacrosse team, which competes in the MIAA 'A' conference. Stephen lives in Ellicott City, MD, with his family and stays active through basketball, weightlifting, golfing, and travel.
