Most people come to me at a similar point in life: income has jumped, life has gotten complicated faster than anyone prepared them for, and they have no time to sort it out. That's where I come in.
I'm a CFP® professional and financial advisor with Firebrand Wealth Management, a women-owned fee-only fiduciary RIA. Our firm serves women, their families & allies, along with people that our industry has traditionally overlooked. That's the work I care about.
I'm also a first-generation professional, and many of the people I work with are building wealth without a foundation. That includes LGBTQ+ households. I mentor first-generation business students at Rutgers for the same reason.
My clients typically fall under two buckets:
Physicians, from residency training through pre-retirement. Residents and fellows moving into attending roles, mid-career doctors weighing partnership decisions (e.g., private practice, private equity-backed, or non-profit), and attendings planning for their next step. Student loans and PSLF, contract review, retirement plans, estate planning, and asset protection.
Early-career professionals in tech, marketing, law, and consulting whose pay is complicated and who are making these calls for the first time. Equity compensation like RSUs and ISOs, tax planning, cash flow, and an investment strategy you can stick with.
