Atul Varma is a CFA® charterholder and the founder of Burnett Lane Advisors, LLC, where he has worked since 2025. He previously held roles at Hamilton Lane and BNY Mellon, accumulating over a decade of experience in institutional finance. Outside of his advisory work, he is the founder and managing member of Care Home Health, LLC, a non-medical home care agency serving seniors and disabled individuals. Burnett Lane Advisors provides discretionary investment management and financial planning services to individuals, families, trusts, estates, retirement accounts, charitable organizations, and small institutions. The firm employs a quantitative, performance-focused, long-term investment approach, utilizing equities, ETFs, and index-based instruments, and offers integrated financial planning alongside portfolio management.

Shiv Sethi is a Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, where he joined in March 2020. His practice centers on assisting sophisticated individuals, families, and businesses with preserving and growing their wealth to support their goals. Shiv focuses on creating bespoke wealth strategies that encompass comprehensive advice on investing, generational wealth transfer, and philanthropic giving, along with providing access to banking and borrowing services through Bank of America. He has specialized experience in managed solutions, alternative investments, and liquidity management. Before rejoining Merrill, Shiv held the position of Vice President at JP Morgan Private Bank and worked in the North American Investment Banking division at Macquarie Capital. He originally began his career at Merrill in 2009, undertaking various roles within the Global Wealth Management division over six years. Shiv holds a BBA in Finance (Cum Laude) from Temple University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He also holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) and Personal Investment Advisor (PIA) designations. As a second-generation American, Shiv is committed to supporting diversity and inclusion in both his professional and personal life. He serves on the board of directors for the August Wilson African American Cultural Center and is a member of the Professional Advisors Council at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. Additionally, he is an avid animal lover and participates in animal welfare charities and shelters.
