Ben has been a practicing fee-only financial planner for more than 10 years. He co-founded Fully Financial to pursue his dream of opening his own financial planning firm and offering an even greater level of personal financial planning services to more people and families. Fully Financial is a premier boutique firm by design — intentionally and carefully built to prioritize high-touch, responsive, and full-service financial planning and investment management to individuals and families. At Fully, our purpose is to provide real financial advice that helps more people live their lives to the fullest. That's why we treat every single one of our clients as if they are family — and as a legal fiduciary, we always put their best interests first. Prior to opening Fully, Ben worked at a midsize fee-only firm where he served as partner and chief financial officer in addition to leading a financial planning team responsible for 200+ client households, managing $200M+ in assets, and overseeing the firm's HQ in Athens, Georgia. Ben is a CFP® Professional and an Enrolled Agent licensed to practice before the IRS. Committed to both his profession and his community, Ben currently serves on the board of directors for the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and as treasurer of Athens-based nonprofits Books for Keeps and Athens Pride. He also teaches part-time in UGA's financial planning program and previously served as chair of the UGA College of Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni Association. Ben is a "Double Dawg," having received both his master's degree in Financial Planning and bachelor's degree in Consumer Economics (summa cum laude with highest honors) from the University of Georgia.

Ryan Rasmussen is a CFP® professional with one year of industry experience, currently with Fully Financial in Athens, GA. His prior roles include positions at the University of Georgia and several wealth advisory firms. He also serves as a Personal Finance Educator for the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia, conducting educational presentations for retirement system participants. Fully Financial is a fee-only SEC-registered investment adviser serving affluent and emerging-affluent households, related entities, endowments, and corporate retirement plans. The firm offers comprehensive wealth management with an investment approach based on Modern Portfolio Theory, emphasizing diversified, passive portfolios with active asset allocation and tax-aware strategies.
