Grant Mooi is a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, currently serving clients through the King Engle Group in Dayton, Ohio. He has been with Merrill Lynch since 2006, initially working in Florida where he developed expertise in insurance strategies related to retirement income and wealth transfer. In 2014, he transitioned to Columbus, Ohio as a Retirement Specialist, focusing on longevity, retirement planning, education funding, and Social Security strategies. Grant holds FINRA Series 7, 6, 63, and 65 registrations and is licensed by the State of Ohio for life insurance. He is also a Personal Investment Advisor (PIA). His educational background includes a High School Diploma from La Salle College and an Associate's Degree from Palm Beach Community College. Grant’s approach to financial advising centers on understanding clients’ personal goals and simplifying their financial lives, with client focus areas that include college education planning, divorce transition planning, executive compensation, legacy planning, LGBT wealth planning, and managing new wealth. In addition to his professional work, Grant serves on the board of Easterseals Central and Southeast Ohio, supporting the organization’s mission related to disabilities. Outside of work, he is actively involved in coaching youth soccer and spending time with his wife Bre and their three children.
