Sammons Wealth

As the founder of Sammons Wealth Management, I specialize in retirement planning and portfolio management for women and LGBTQ professionals, executives, physicians, and business owners who are 50+. My home base is Dallas, Texas, but I serve clients nationwide. My clients are busy professionals and delegators who value having a trusted partner to guide them through their ideal retirement. We focus on designing your ideal retirement timing and income plan, tax minimization, and wise investment management. We also cover your health and long-term care planning, equity compensation (RSUs, NQSOs, Deferred Comp), inheritance planning, and more. My practice is small by design, which allows me to go deep with each client and have my finger on the pulse of your entire financial picture. My clients also tend to have more complex financial situations that require a strategic approach to solving problems. Although I only take on a few new clients each year, you are welcome to submit an inquiry and request an introductory call. My services are best suited to individuals and couples within 5-10 years of retirement, with a minimum of $1M+ in IRAs, 401ks, and taxable investment accounts. If this sounds like you, complete my questionnaire here to request a call: https://sammonswealth.com/intro-call-questionnaire/

Think Different Wealth Advisors LLC

What led you to your position at your firm? I have been focused on FIRE (financial independence, retire early) goals since college. At age 36, I was able to quit a high-paying hedge fund job to pursue my dream of starting this business. This wasn’t an accident, but part of a long-term financial plan I crafted for myself. Now, I am able to share my passion and help others pursue and achieve their dreams. What makes you different from other advisors? I am different from other advisors in that I offer a white glove, high touch model. While other advisors may serve as many as 100 to 200 clients each, I intend to serve no more than 20 clients exceptionally well. What minimum assets do you require? For investment-only clients, we require minimum assets under management of $300,000. I charge a 1.0% investment management fee for the active strategy and a 0.7% investment management fee for the passive strategy. For clients with more than $1 million of assets under management, we offer financial planning services at no additional charge. Due to capacity limitations, we will only be able to accept a few more financial planning clients. Once we reach capacity, we will no longer be able to accept new financial planning clients. What makes your investment process unique? Inspired by Warren Buffett’s investing style, I believe I can add substantial value to our clients through active management and superior stock selection. Having two decades of investment experience working at multiple hedge funds with exposure to both equities and fixed income, I have learned from the best. With all of my own net worth invested alongside my clients in the same strategies, my interests are aligned with yours as this cook eats his own cooking.
