United Advisor Group
I'm Aaron Sloan, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Chartered Financial Consultant® with an MBA. I help business owners answer two big questions: how do we build this, and who takes it from here? Family business isn't just my specialty. It's my family. I'm the third generation of the Sloan family behind Sherwood Community Bank, founded in 1902, where I still serve as an owner and board member. I've learned firsthand that the hardest parts of a transition aren't always on the balance sheet. Sometimes they're at the dinner table. My work centers on business planning and family business succession. That means building a plan to grow and protect the business, preparing the next generation or the right buyer to take over, and making sure the owner's retirement doesn't depend on a perfect exit. Along the way, I coordinate with your CPA and attorney so every piece actually fits together. I also provide comprehensive financial planning covering retirement, investments, and insurance. I'm based in Harrisonville, Missouri, where I serve as president of the Harrisonville Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and I work with clients virtually nationwide. If you're running a business you hope will outlast you, let's talk.

JKD Financial
I’m John Davis, and I founded JKD Financial to bridge the gap between two worlds that should never have been separated: financial planning and proactive tax strategy. Springfield, Missouri is my home, I'm a dad to two boys, and a firm believer that financial advice should be honest, transparent, and easy to understand. I’ve spent my career—since 2016—learning this industry from the ground up. I started in the back office of an independent firm, eventually moving into a lead advisor role before spent time at a large CPA firm. Along the way, I noticed a problem: most "wealth management" is missing a microscope. Advisors look at the big picture, and tax preparers look at the past, but very few people sit in the middle to look at the future impact of every dollar. As both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), I provide that missing link. I don’t just build a portfolio; I audit the plan for tax efficiency—managing IRMAA thresholds, executing Roth conversions, and ensuring your retirement "buckets" are optimized for what you actually keep. I’ve built an intentionally small practice. I’m not interested in scaling a giant empire or managing a call center. I limit the number of families I serve so that I can provide the deep-dive service my clients deserve. I took the leap to start my own firm because I wanted to build something I’d be proud to show my sons. I wanted to prove that you can provide elite-level financial advice without hidden fees, confusing jargon, or the conflicts of interest found in traditional AUM models. How I Work: Flat-Fee: My pricing is transparent and based on the complexity of your life, not the size of your portfolio. Tax-Forward: We plan for April 15th all year long, not just in the spring. High-Touch: When you have a question, you get a direct line to me—not an associate or a generic inbox. If you’re a diligent saver looking for a proactive partner to navigate the transition into retirement, I’d love to see if we’re a good fit. Learn more at jkdfinancial.com

Pinkston Wealth, LLC
I live in the Ozarks with my wife Heather and I work with Latter-day Saint families. I started Pinkston Wealth to be the practice I would have wanted to hire. I have built retirement plans for hundreds of families, and the lesson that stuck with me is that no two of them are truly the same. The financial industry does not plan that way. It hands two couples with the same account balance the same plan, the same models, the same allocations, the same glossy reports, as if the number on the statement were the whole story. It never is. A financial report is not a plan. Yours should be built around your life, not printed from a template with your name typed on the cover. So I work the opposite way. Before I look at a single account, I want to know what you are actually retiring toward. I have sat with couples who have plenty and are quietly terrified to spend a dollar of it, and couples with less who sleep fine because they know exactly what their money is for. The number on the statement told me almost nothing about which was which. That is the part the industry skips, and it is the part I start with. It is also why I specialize instead of trying to serve everyone. The clearest example is a season most advisors have never planned for: a couple leaving on a full-time senior mission. That one decision quietly touches everything, what the mission costs, what happens to the house and the income and the portfolio while you are gone, how to hand off eighteen months of your financial life and actually be present where you are serving. I went looking for someone who had mapped this out and could not find them, so I became that person. I am not going anywhere, and neither is this practice. I stay small on purpose, because I would rather know a hundred families well than manage a thousand I never really meet. These are relationships I expect to keep for decades, through retirement and the seasons of change that come with a life well lived. If that is the kind of advisor you have been hoping to find, I would be glad to talk.
