AMS Management

AMS Management is a Vermont state-registered advisory firm founded in 1994 that provides discretionary asset management only; it does not offer financial planning. The firm accepts a limited set of clients — individuals, high-net-worth investors, corporations, pensions, trusts, estates, charitable organizations and endowment fiduciaries — and the brochure notes it manages roughly $7.5 million in discretionary assets as of December 31, 2024.

The firm combines technical and fundamental analysis and emphasizes capital preservation alongside capital appreciation while favoring an aggressive growth posture with substantial stock-market exposure. Accounts are monitored daily and positions are managed for intermediate- to long-term horizons, using mutual funds, ETFs and individual stocks, with the option to employ short positions or inverse funds sparingly for hedging.
