About
Collaborative Portfolio Management, L.L.C. serves individuals and families as well as businesses, trusts, estates and charitable organizations, providing discretionary portfolio management, investment consulting, and participant-level 401(k) advice and monitoring. The firm manages taxable and tax-advantaged accounts across three platforms (managed stock/ETF/fixed income accounts, managed accounts, and individual-level retirement accounts) and also offers targeted consulting on estate planning, retirement planning and other financial matters.
The firm’s investment process emphasizes relative strength analysis and point-and-figure charting to build globally diversified portfolios that seek to allocate into stronger market areas while emphasizing capital preservation. CPM implements strategies using individual equities, bonds, mutual funds and ETFs and may use short-term trades, option writing, margin or short sales when appropriate, with accounts reviewed formally on a quarterly basis and monitored by the Chief Compliance Officer.
A distinctive practice at CPM is that some associated persons also act as registered representatives of broker-dealers and are licensed insurance agents and may receive customary commissions for insurance or brokerage transactions; the brochure discloses this potential conflict and states clients are under no obligation to use those services. The firm also notes that advisory fees may be adjusted in consideration of commissions earned and describes supervisory controls (quarterly reporting to the CCO and prior approvals for IPOs/private placements) intended to address conflicts of interest.

Not sure where to start?
We'll help you think it through—whether you ultimately need an advisor or not. Warmer helps you compare advisors clearly, so you can choose with confidence.
For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.
Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor. We receive compensation from certain participating advisors for introductions or referrals. This creates a conflict of interest because we have an incentive to recommend advisors who compensate us, including those who pay us more. You pay no fee to use our matching service, and advisor fees are not increased because of a referral or introduction. We do not review the ongoing performance of advisors, manage or hold assets, guarantee performance, or provide advice about specific investments.
By using our service, you agree to our Terms of Service and Advisory Agreement, and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Please review FHQ’s ADV Part 2A and Form CRS. Logos provided by Logo.dev
