About

Confianza Wealth Management is a fee‑only, independent registered investment adviser that serves individuals, high‑net‑worth clients, and employer‑sponsored retirement plans, offering investment management, financial planning (both project‑based and ongoing tiers), and retirement plan consulting. The firm operates as a solo advisory practice with a small client base and manages under $1 million in client assets, providing tailored advice and ongoing account supervision.

The firm works with clients to establish individualized investment policies and asset‑allocation targets and implements those strategies using a mix of passive and active vehicles, third‑party model portfolios, and, when appropriate, Outside Managers on a discretionary basis. Financial planning is offered across defined tiers (Starter, Advanced, Ultimate) and includes services such as cash‑flow analysis, estate and tax planning coordination, employee benefits optimization, business planning, and equity compensation analysis, with periodic reviews and ongoing monitoring.

Notably, despite its small scale, the firm provides retirement plan consulting to employer plan sponsors and serves in advisory capacities defined under ERISA, an offering that is uncommon among peers in this category; services for plans include drafting investment policy statements, investment and fee reviews, participant education, and vendor searches. The firm also emphasizes a fiduciary, CFP®‑backed planning approach and integrates referrals to unaffiliated third‑party professionals and managers rather than receiving commission‑based compensation.

WHY JERRY CHOSE TO BE A FINANCIAL PLANNER: His lack of financial literacy was not by choice. It was because personal finance was not taught in school or in his community. As a first-generation wealth builder, Jerry's money journey has been shaped by a profound understanding of both cultural and financial expectations. His experiences have uniquely positioned him to empathize with the challenges faced by first-generation families, inspiring a distinctive approach to financial guidance. His moment of profound solitude occurred during his transition from the Marine Corps back to civilian life. In uniform, Jerry felt in control, with camaraderie, financial stability, and a consistent salary. However, the day he left, all that stability vanished giving way to a cascade of emotions - depression, anxiety, and fear. Jerry, who had grown up facing financial hardships, relying on food stamps, and public aid, knew it was time to stop merely talking about wanting to build wealth and start acting. The realization struck deep: He needed to make a difference not just for himself, but for others facing similar issues. Motivated by a desire to help his family and friends, Jerry decided to be the guide he wished he'd had. He obtained his license, college degree, and joined a firm not only to enhance his life but the lives of other 1st-time wealth builders. After a few years of helping high net worth individuals grow their assets, Jerry felt the firm wasn't built to help families like his. In 2024, Jerry took the leap and launched Confianza Wealth Management as a guide for aspiring wealth builders. Jerry is on a mission to empower 1st-time wealth building families. Jerry wants to bridge the financial planning accessibility gap by helping these millennial families take control of their financial futures.

Find your advisor

For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.

Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor. We receive compensation from certain participating advisors for introductions or referrals. This creates a conflict of interest because we have an incentive to recommend advisors who compensate us, including those who pay us more. You pay no fee to use our matching service, and advisor fees are not increased because of a referral or introduction. We do not review the ongoing performance of advisors, manage or hold assets, guarantee performance, or provide advice about specific investments.

By using our service, you agree to our Terms of Service and Advisory Agreement, and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Please review FHQ’s ADV Part 2A and Form CRS. Logos provided by Logo.dev
