Warmer can help you find a great advisor at First Citizens Investor Services, Inc. or one who fits your needs even better.
First Citizens Investor Services, Inc. serves individuals (including high‑net‑worth clients), pension and profit‑sharing plans, charitable organizations, and corporate/business entities, delivering advisory and brokerage services through IARs and third‑party Portfolio Managers. Its offerings include portfolio management (UMAs and SMAs), wrap programs, model portfolios, a Guided Investing automated platform, Tax Aware services, and financial planning. The firm’s client process centers on IAR‑led assessments of financial needs, risk tolerance, and time horizon, applying fundamental, quantitative, and technical analysis to allocate among equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and ETFs. As of December 31, 2025, FCIS reported $2,626,080,185 in client assets—approximately $2,622,926,802 held in non‑discretionary accounts and $3,153,383 in discretionary accounts—reflecting a predominance of non‑discretionary client arrangements; an Investment Products Committee conducts due diligence and ongoing reviews of designated Portfolio Managers. Noteworthy distinctions include the firm’s reliance on percentage‑of‑AUM and wrap fee structures rather than fixed‑fee arrangements, and a limited “Representative as Portfolio Manager” option available only to select IARs. FCIS is dually registered and affiliated with First Citizens Bank and related advisers, has implemented remediation of a prior SEC matter by crediting 12b‑1 fees back to clients since 2016, and offers optional tax transition and tax‑loss harvesting services (tax transition planning can extend up to several years).
