Investream is a single-advisor independent investment adviser that provides ongoing portfolio management to individual and high-net-worth clients and prepares an Investment Policy Statement for each account. The firm’s Form ADV shows a very small client base and assets under management, and it delivers typical services such as asset allocation, asset selection, and regular portfolio monitoring. Per Item 16 and Item 4, Investream provides both discretionary and non-discretionary account management and documents client risk tolerance and any client-imposed restrictions in the Investment Policy Statement; the firm reserves the right to end relationships if restrictions prevent proper servicing. Item 8 describes a multi-method approach — charting, fundamental and technical analysis, and modern portfolio theory — and explicitly includes long- and short-term trading and options strategies (including covered and uncovered options), which carry elevated risk. Compared with many independent peers that operate predominantly on a discretionary basis, Investream’s explicit provision for non-discretionary management and its stated use of options and technical/charting analysis are less common features. The ADV also discloses the principal’s outside roles — a registered representative of Morgan Stanley and a licensed real estate agent — which the firm identifies as potential conflicts it will manage and disclose (see Items 10 and 11).
