About

Ironsides Asset Advisors provides financial planning, portfolio management and general consulting to individuals, high‑net‑worth clients and institutional entities such as trusts, pension plans, foundations and estates. At the outset of each relationship the firm develops a Financial Profile and an Investment Policy Statement and implements those plans through managed accounts, use of separate account managers, and, when appropriate, third‑party wrap programs.

The firm’s investment process centers on asset allocation and active manager selection, combining quantitative analysis (e.g., rolling correlations, volatility measures, Sortino ratios) with qualitative due diligence for hedge funds, private equity/credit and other private asset managers. Portfolios use direct equities and fixed income, ETFs and pooled funds, and the firm discloses selective use of hedging and derivatives as well as margin, options writing, short sales and occasional arbitrage in separately managed accounts.

Notably, as of December 31, 2025 Ironsides reported approximately $578 million in discretionary assets and about $846 million in non‑discretionary assets, so a majority of its AUM is managed non‑discretionarily — a structure that differs from most comparable team firms. The firm oversees roughly $1.42 billion across a relatively small, concentrated client roster and operates with private‑investment activity and administrative support affiliated with a family investment company, resulting in high assets per advisor and extensive engagement with illiquid and alternative strategies.

For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.

Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor. We receive compensation from certain participating advisors for introductions or referrals. This creates a conflict of interest because we have an incentive to recommend advisors who compensate us, including those who pay us more. You pay no fee to use our matching service, and advisor fees are not increased because of a referral or introduction. We do not review the ongoing performance of advisors, manage or hold assets, guarantee performance, or provide advice about specific investments.

By using our service, you agree to our Terms of Service and Advisory Agreement, and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Please review FHQ’s ADV Part 2A and Form CRS. Logos provided by Logo.dev
