Kyso provides ongoing discretionary portfolio management to individuals, families and businesses and offers three model portfolios as well as a customizable ETF-based option. Clients choose among a growth-oriented stock model, a dividend-income model, or an active ETF model, and the firm implements, monitors and reports on those strategies.

Investment decisions are grounded in fundamental analysis and a combination of growth and value approaches, with most positions held long term but with permission to employ short-term trading and technical signals in certain models. The Rising Stars portfolio specifically targets underfollowed small-cap and OTC ("penny") securities and the firm may use hedging tactics, including inverse ETFs and other derivative-based instruments, when authorized by the client.

What distinguishes the firm from many independent peers is its explicit incorporation of inverse ETFs, hedging and potential derivatives exposure within separately managed accounts — a practice the brochure flags as higher risk and subject to client approval.
