About
Managed Asset Portfolios, LLC provides discretionary and non‑discretionary investment advisory services to a mixture of individual and institutional clients, including high‑net‑worth individuals, pension and profit‑sharing plans, government plans, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, and both registered and private investment companies (including offshore funds). The firm offers separately managed accounts across fixed‑income, balanced, U.S. and global equity strategies, serves as a sub‑adviser to the Catalyst/MAP mutual funds, and participates in wrap programs and model‑portfolio arrangements.
MAP’s investment approach is bottom‑up, fundamental value research that seeks high‑quality companies with durable competitive advantages, prudent capital allocation, and a margin of safety, using valuation metrics and discounted cash‑flow analysis. Portfolio construction is adaptive across its Enhanced Income, Global Balanced, and Global Equity strategies (the firm also uses the Bloomberg MAC‑3 risk model), and may include covered‑call overlays, cash management and fundamental fixed‑income selection to manage income and downside risk.
What distinguishes MAP from many peers is its active role with pooled investment vehicles — including serving as sub‑adviser to affiliated mutual funds and providing portfolio management for pooled and model vehicles — and its willingness to negotiate varied fee arrangements, including performance‑based fees in some cases, while explicitly addressing side‑by‑side management conflicts. The firm also notes it does not provide individualized retirement or tax rollover advice, claims GIPS compliance with independent verification, and documents surveillance and proxy‑voting procedures to mitigate conflicts that can arise from managing both funds and separate accounts.

We'll help you think it through—whether you ultimately need an advisor or not. Warmer helps you compare advisors clearly, so you can choose with confidence.
For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.
Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor. We receive compensation from certain participating advisors for introductions or referrals. This creates a conflict of interest because we have an incentive to recommend advisors who compensate us, including those who pay us more. You pay no fee to use our matching service, and advisor fees are not increased because of a referral or introduction. We do not review the ongoing performance of advisors, manage or hold assets, guarantee performance, or provide advice about specific investments.
By using our service, you agree to our Terms of Service and Advisory Agreement, and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Please review FHQ’s ADV Part 2A and Form CRS. Logos provided by Logo.dev
