Jack Gunter is a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and the founding member of the Gunter Hamilton DeCaro Wealth Management Group. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1970 and has held roles including office manager and options principal before focusing full-time on providing financial advisory services to families. His work emphasizes areas such as employee financial health, retirement income, portfolio management, tax minimization, and socially responsible and ESG investing. Jack holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Miami University of Ohio and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1999. He also holds the Personal Investment Advisor (PIA) designation. He served two years in the United States Marine Corps at Quantico, Virginia. Jack has been involved in various community roles including serving on the HOA Board for Thunder Mountain, the POA Board for Pinetop Country Club, and participating in his Presbyterian Church’s Endowment and Finance Committees. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Jack enjoys biking, hiking, running, table tennis, and spending time with his family. He also has a history of community involvement and travel with his wife.
