The Firm relies on automated risk-scoring and ongoing algorithmic oversight to match Clients with approved Portfolios and to monitor alignment with each Client’s stated risk tolerance, including real-time notifications and automatic suspension of copying when misalignment is detected. When Clients elect to copy a Portfolio, Pioneer transmits automated trade instructions to a third‑party broker for execution while maintaining compliance reviews and a fiduciary obligation over the advice delivered through the Platform. Pioneer’s business model is distinctive among similar advisers because it operates solely as an internet-based, subscription-funded Platform rather than charging traditional percentage-of-assets fees, and it administers a User Bonus Pool that algorithmically rewards certain platform engagement metrics. The Firm also accepts fiduciary responsibility for user-created, copyable Portfolios—while those originating Traders are not supervised persons—combining user-generated strategies with an internal approval, monitoring, and quality‑assurance framework and relying on an introducing/execution broker for custody and trade execution.
