About

Prospera Capital Management serves individuals (including high‑net‑worth clients), trusts, pension plans and business entities with discretionary asset management, comprehensive portfolio management and standalone financial planning and consulting. Its investment universe includes individual stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, options and certain private investments, and the firm provides financial planning on matters such as retirement, estate, charitable and education planning.

The firm constructs individualized portfolios and conducts ongoing monitoring and rebalancing, drawing on fundamental, quantitative, qualitative and sector analysis; for fixed‑income mandates it maintains duration targets within a narrow band around benchmarks. Advisory relationships are governed by written agreements and the firm executes discretionary trades for clients who grant that authority, with planning delivered on a project or hourly basis.

Notable operational features include that Prospera was formed in 2024 but reports roughly $344 million in regulatory assets under management across a small client base and three advisors, resulting in relatively high AUM per client. The firm also documents more business‑oriented planning services (cost segregation studies, corporate structure and tax planning, lines‑of‑credit evaluation) and discloses operational details such as the use of margin in accounts and receipt of sponsor‑supported educational benefits that clients may wish to review.

I began my career as grain trader gaining valuable experience with the futures market. I spent time as a brokerage specialist with New York Life providing me with a background in Life, Disability and Health Insurance. I then became a commercial loan officer at First Interstate Bank (now Wells Fargo). Before I moved to Vanguard, I worked with my father in a family business. After successfully transitioning him to retirement, I merged and then sold the business allowing me to pursue my passion which was to become a Certified Financial Planner, a CFP®. To accomplish this goal, I began with The Vanguard Group in their brokerage area as an equity specialist in 2006. I then successfully secured my CFP® designation getting my marks in the spring of 2009 which coincided with my promotion to the Fixed Income area. Another promotion to become a Senior Fixed Income Specialist followed allowing me to gain valuable experience with more complex bonds. When Vanguard began Personal Advisor Services in 2015, I moved into that area and assumed a role as a Financial Advisor. After a decade as a Senior Financial Advisor for Vanguard, I made the move to Luminvest Wealth Management as a Wealth Advisor. As a boutique with a limited number of clients, Luminvest allows me to be truly present for my clients. Further, I am empowered to be a Fiduciary on my client's behalf with low fees and full transparency. We specialize in building tax efficient, low-expense portfolios. In addition, I am very experienced in withdrawal strategies for my clients. With cutting-edge and dynamic financial planning tools, we can guide our clients forward amidst the ongoing uncertainty and volatility inherent with today's financial markets. Having been through the Great Financial Crisis, the Covid Crash, and the inflationary spiral of 2022, I stand with my clients as a calm and experienced professional partner allowing you to focus on your life while I focus on your finances.

Find your advisor

For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.

Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor. We receive compensation from certain participating advisors for introductions or referrals. This creates a conflict of interest because we have an incentive to recommend advisors who compensate us, including those who pay us more. You pay no fee to use our matching service, and advisor fees are not increased because of a referral or introduction. We do not review the ongoing performance of advisors, manage or hold assets, guarantee performance, or provide advice about specific investments.

By using our service, you agree to our Terms of Service and Advisory Agreement, and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Please review FHQ’s ADV Part 2A and Form CRS. Logos provided by Logo.dev
