Warmer can help you find a great advisor at Stirlingshire Investments or one who fits your needs even better.
Stirlingshire provides discretionary portfolio management and financial planning to individuals, trusts, and other entities, and notes it does not impose a firmwide account minimum. Services include customized investment management and access to model strategies through the Advyzon Investment Management (AIM) model marketplace, with advisory relationships governed by a written fiduciary acknowledgment. The firm employs a mix of analytical methods (charting, cyclical, fundamental, quantitative, technical and modern portfolio theory) and uses long- and short-term trading, including short sales, margin and options, alongside allocations to mutual funds, ETFs (including precious-metal ETFs), REITs, private placements and venture capital funds. Stirlingshire generally manages accounts on a discretionary basis and may allocate client assets to third‑party or AIM model strategies, which are billed and withdrawn from client accounts. Noteworthy operational and conflict-of-interest features include a requirement that clients open brokerage accounts at its affiliated broker‑dealer, Stirlingshire BD LLC, with clearing through Apex, and that SBD receives various clearing-related compensation; many firm advisers are also registered representatives who may earn commissions. The firm also pays third parties for referrals (a Finalis referral arrangement equal to 10% of asset-based advisory fees for certain referred IARs) and retains AIM model strategy fees for Stirlingshire-developed models (with 100% of the model strategy fee for Stirlingshire models transferred to its Chief Market Strategist), arrangements the brochure identifies as potential conflicts of interest.
