Donald Carcieri is a Wealth Management Advisor and partner with the Carcieri and Bock Group at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Since joining Merrill in 2014, he has worked with high net worth clients, families, and small business owners to develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies. Carcieri and his team utilize industry research and Merrill's proprietary wealth management technology to deliver tailored goals-based planning and tax-efficient investment strategies. His areas of focus include portfolio construction, income and retirement planning, generational wealth transfers, and relationship management.
Carcieri began his career in the financial services industry in 2010. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2016 and became a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor professional in 2018. He also holds credentials as a Personal Investment Advisor and Retirement Accredited Financial Advisor. Carcieri graduated from Amherst College with a bachelor's degree, where he was captain of the varsity basketball team and participated in a national championship in 2007.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Carcieri serves on the Diocese of Providence Investment Committee. He lives in Coventry, Rhode Island, with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, cooking, learning about wine, playing chess, and coaching.
