31% TypicalI didn't set out to become a financial advisor. I set out to protect families — that's what drew me into estate planning in the first place. But after years of drafting trusts, I kept seeing the same heartbreak. A family would come in after losing a parent, holding a beautiful plan we'd built, and it wouldn't work the way it was supposed to. Not because the documents were wrong — because the accounts never matched them. A beneficiary form nobody updated. Money scattered across four institutions that didn't talk to each other. An advisor who never knew the trust existed, and an attorney who never saw the statements. Everybody meant well, but no one was actually connecting the pieces. And the family paid for it — usually at the worst possible moment. I got tired of being the one who could only fix things after the fact. I wanted to be there before the crisis, not just clean up after it. That's why I built this side of the practice. I can write the trust *and* make sure the money actually lives inside it — the investments, the beneficiary designations, the tax planning, all coordinated under one roof, working alongside your CPA. For the families I serve, It's the difference between a plan that looks good on paper and one that actually holds up when a family needs it most. For me, it comes back to stewardship. What you've built was entrusted to you, and my job is to help you pass it on with as little friction, conflict, and confusion as possible — to leave your family prepared, not just provided.
