Most people I work with are in the strongest earning years of their life. The accounts are growing, and there's finally room to build something that lasts. What's missing is a plan that ties it together. One of you probably runs the money, tracks the accounts, and quietly carries the pressure of getting it right. The other trusts that it's handled and wants to understand it without becoming the expert. Both of those jobs matter, and I work for both of you.
The work is simple to describe and hard to do well. We decide how much to save and where, how to sequence Roth and traditional dollars, how to handle equity compensation or a concentrated stock position, and how to invest tax-efficiently while you still have decades of compounding ahead. You get one written plan that says exactly what you own, why you own it, and what changes under what conditions. I'm a CFA charterholder and a CFP® professional, and I'm fee-only. I don't sell products or earn commissions. The only way I get paid is by you, which means my advice answers to you and no one else.
Working in the investment industry since 2007, I watched many people get sold instead of served. I started Financial Empowerment to be different. As a devoted Christ-follower I believe helping people steward their finances is a serious calling. The ideas that actually build wealth aren't complicated once someone explains them plainly. Spend less than you earn. Diversify. Make the big decisions on purpose instead of by default. I dislike it when people can't explain things simply, and believe in transparent communication. If that's already how you think about money, we'll get along. Schedule a call and tell me what you're trying to figure out. No pitch, no obligation.
