A native of Rhode Island, Michael earned a Bachelor's Degree from Providence College. He resides in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, with his wife and two sons. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys traveling, golfing, and running, and is actively involved in supporting several local nonprofit organizations.
