Michael Zawerucka is a Wealth Management Advisor and partner in the Sloper-Zawerucka Group at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He has been in the financial services industry since 2003 and works closely with families and small businesses to identify goals and construct comprehensive financial and retirement analyses. As a Portfolio Manager, he constructs customized portfolios tailored to individual client needs, managing discretionary Personalized or Defined Strategies that may include individual stocks and bonds, Merrill Lynch model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies.
Michael holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation from the College for Financial Planning Institutes Corp. He has also obtained insurance licenses and the Personal Investment Advisor designation. He graduated Sigma Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, earning a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Economics. Michael lives in North Dighton, Massachusetts, with his wife Tiffany and their two children. His personal interests include chess, football, running, softball, spending time with family, traveling, and watching movies.
