Nora Kolar is a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and a partner with The London Kolar Group. She began her financial services career in 1995 and joined Merrill in 2009. Nora focuses on helping high-net-worth individuals manage various aspects of their financial lives, designing and implementing wealth management strategies to pursue short- and long-term goals such as college education planning, retirement preparation, and legacy planning.
Nora holds several professional designations including Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), Personal Investment Advisor (PIA), and Retirement Benefits Consultant (RBC). She earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Walsh College and an associate's degree from Oakland Community College. Her experience includes working with clients during significant life transitions and providing guidance in areas such as family wealth management, divorce transition planning, and managing new wealth.
Her personal experience with her daughter's health challenges has informed her belief in the connection between financial planning and health, motivating her to help clients prepare for retirement without added worries. Outside of her professional role, Nora enjoys music, traveling, and spending time with her two children in Berkley, Michigan.
