Kevin F

CFP®

Harrisonburg, VA

XYPN Sapphire

Kevin grew up as the son of a small business owner, learning firsthand the challenges and rewards of running a business. As an undergraduate student at James Madison University, he double-majored in Media Arts and Economics, combining a love of storytelling with a curiosity about how money shapes our lives. He began his career in corporate banking during the Great Recession—an experience that quickly reinforced the importance of managing debt, building emergency reserves, and planning for uncertainty. Over the next decade, Kevin worked closely with individuals and business owners while earning his MBA with a concentration in Finance. Over time, as the banking industry grew larger and more transactional, he realized he missed the part of the work he valued most: building meaningful, personal relationships with clients. An opportunity to teach finance at JMU’s College of Business ignited his passion for education and ultimately led him to earn the Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2022. At the heart of Kevin’s work is one simple goal: reducing financial anxiety so families can live their lives fully. Kevin takes an educator’s approach to financial planning. Rather than telling clients what to do, he focuses on explaining options, outlining trade-offs, and helping them make informed decisions. By intentionally limiting the number of families he serves, Kevin is able to stay deeply involved, responsive, and present. For many clients, he becomes the first call during both celebrations and challenges—whether that’s a new job, a growing family, a loss, or a major life transition.

I help people who are near (or in) retirement with retirement income, Social Security and tax decisions, investing, and more. I've been doing this for over 20 years, and would love to talk. Get clarity on your finances. Figure out when you can retire, what you're on track for, how much you can spend, when to take Social Security, how to invest your retirement nest egg, and more. Whether we do detailed planning or you just want to ask some questions, you'll be better informed. We generally take stock of resources like Social Security or pension income, plus any assets earmarked for retirement, like IRAs and 401(k) plans. Then, we review your desired spending. All the while, we keep taxes, investment returns, inflation, and other factors top-of-mind. And we can run various what-if scenarios to take an optimistic or pessimistic view. How do we work together? It's your choice: Do it yourself, or have me handle your investments. You are not required to transfer assets or invest any minimum amount. Options include flat-fee or one-time project work, asset management, and other arrangements. Get a second set of eyes, ask a few questions online, get a quick investment review, or go with an ongoing relationship. With that information, you can make informed decisions. Can you retire early? How much can you spend after taxes? Does it make sense to pursue strategies like Roth IRA conversions (to avoid Medicare's IRMAA surcharges and manage taxes)? Are annuities worth looking at, and should you keep the products somebody else sold you? When it comes to investing, I favor a simple approach. Let's get things figured out so you can move on to more important things in life. Whether you prefer to spend time with loved ones, get outdoors, or enjoy other pursuits, completing those necessary financial tasks makes it easier. I earned an MBA and MSIS from the University of Colorado in 2003 and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2010. I first got licensed with a financial firm in 2000. I also have the Retirement Management Advisor (RMA®) designation. In the past, I wrote as a freelance writer covering personal finance, loans, insurance, retirement, early retirement, and more for 20+ years. Let’s talk: Visit my website's Contact page to start the conversation! Read articles about retirement planning and learn more about Justin Pritchard here: https://www.approachfp.com/

Nate Baim, CFP®, MBA My name is Nate Baim, and I'm a financial planner who enjoys helping working professionals and professional nearing retirement plan their pursuits. You will quickly learn I am interested in learning about your desired pursuits. I will work with you to best understand how to manage your financial responsibilities and risks within the context of your goals. My process will help us understand how each of your goals will impact your pursuit and bring clarity to your unique circumstance. Because I believe in ongoing financial planning, I place a strong focus on actionable strategies, accountability, and monitoring of your ever-evolving plan. For a long time, I was interested in the financial planning profession. However, I was turned off by the stereotypical pushy salesmanship reputation accompanying the title "financial advisor." So, when I chose to establish Pursuit Planning and Investments, LLC, I resolved to do it differently. I designed Pursuit Planning and Investments, LLC, to serve the interest of our clients. I take great pride in that we are an independent firm not beholden to selling products. As a Fee-Only firm we are focused on providing our best advice. My pursuit thus far has been focused on exploration, education, and growth. After graduating from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business with a finance degree, I had a strong desire to explore and travel. I moved away from my home state, Indiana, to volunteer with AmeriCorps. Here I served to work on and led back-country trail maintenance teams. This led me to become interested in the intersection between sustainability and finance. Thus, I went back to school, and I earned an MBA at Willamette University's Atkinson Graduate School of Management, focused on sustainability management and investment finance. Before launching Pursuit Planning and Investments, LLC, I worked in Oregon's Silicon Forest for a Fortune 500 company as a strategic financial analyst for a large semiconductor company. On my weekends, you will often find me someplace away from the city, hiking, backpacking, camping, or exploring with my wife and kids.

Hi, I'm Kyle Wilke, CFP®, founder of Equi Financial Planning. I grew up in Southeast Asia, where my parents followed their passion for philanthropy to Thailand and worked in refugee camps in the years after the Vietnam War. Watching the difference compassion made shaped how I define wealth. I came to believe that the only way to truly feel wealthy is by enriching the lives of others. At Equi, we measure wealth two ways: your financial well-being, and the difference your money makes for your family, and your community. As a fee-only fiduciary, I don't sell products or earn commissions, I'm legally and ethically bound to put your interests first, every time. I do my best work with people driven by a genuine passion for what they do: • Early-career professionals building confident money habits from the ground up • Established professionals pursuing big goals around family legacy and charitable endeavors. • Families at a crossroads; navigating the emotional and financial complexity of moving themselves or a loved one into a new living arrangement Whether you need a one-time plan or a long-term partner, we start with your goals and values, not a product. Together we'll tackle the real questions: How do I make the most of my equity comp and benefits? When should I take Social Security? How do I retire with confidence? Can I invest in a way that's good for my returns and good for the world? And how do I leave a legacy that reflects what I care about? If money is a tool, let's make sure yours is building the life and the impact you actually want. I'd love to get acquainted. Reach out, and let's talk.

Tiffany M

Tiffany has nearly 25 years of experience helping clients navigate the complexities of their financial planning lives. A Certified Financial Planner™ and fiduciary, she spent nearly 20 years as a financial advisor with Fidelity Investments. Throughout her career, Tiffany developed a deep expertise in financial planning and a talent for connecting with clients and translating complex financial decisions into thoughtful, actionable strategies. She has primarily worked with entrepreneurs, executives, tech professionals, professors, and other financial professionals - people who are often highly accomplished in their own fields but may not have the time or desire to navigate every aspect of their financial lives on their own. Over time, Tiffany became passionate about changing the conversation around wealth. She believes wealth is about more than investments, retirement, or a number on a statement. It is about what that wealth can make possible - for your life, your family, your choices, your aspirations, and potentially future generations. Rather than simply helping clients answer, "Will I have enough to retire?" she encourages them to think bigger: What do you want your wealth to accomplish? What matters most to you? And how can your financial decisions support the life you want to live? That philosophy ultimately led her to found TLM Transformative Wealth, LLC in 2026. Tiffany created the firm to provide clients with comprehensive advice across all aspects of their financial lives, combining sophisticated financial planning and investment management with a deeper conversation about what wealth means to them and how they want it to shape their future. As a fiduciary firm, TLM Transformative Wealth is committed to putting clients' interests first and providing advice that is aligned with their goals, values, and evolving lives.

I grew up watching my parents pour everything they had into building small businesses from the ground up. Their work ethic was unmatched. But despite all their success, true financial security always seemed just out of reach. The missing piece? A cohesive plan to tie it all together. That stuck with me. It’s why I chose this path - to help people like my parents turn years of hard work into lasting peace of mind. It’s work that’s deeply meaningful to me, and one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I partner with clients to turn complex financial questions into clear, actionable strategies—especially around retirement timing, income planning, and tax efficiency. The goal isn’t just to create a plan, but to help you make confident decisions at every stage of life. Whether you are mid-career, nearing retirement, or just looking for a clearer path forward, I offer calm, objective guidance to help you move ahead with confidence. I especially enjoy working with Gen X professionals who are feeling the pressure of catching up—and are ready to take action. If you’re motivated to close the gap and build a secure, flexible future, we’re probably a strong fit.

When I faced a life-changing challenge that required me to step back from work, I learned the importance of financial peace firsthand. Because my finances were organized, I could focus on healing without worrying about affording treatment or how long I could go without income. That mental clarity was as important as any medical care I received. Now, I bring both the technical expertise as a CPA/PFS and CFP® professional, and the real-world understanding of how financial stability creates freedom when life takes unexpected turns. Because it inevitably will, whether that’s wanting to pursue a career change, evolving family responsibilities, or going after new opportunities without financial stress. As your financial planner, my goal is to help you build an emotional and practical sense of security around money. The numbers and strategies matter, but they're really about creating space for you to live fully, knowing that whatever comes your way, you'll have the financial foundation to handle it with grace. I'm honored to partner with you in creating your WealthPeace.

Our focus is on clients age 55+ that are retired or within ten years of retirement. His unexpected passing transformed that childhood dream into a calling. I feel truly blessed to pursue this profession, especially since few people have the privilege of fulfilling a lifelong aspiration. Over the years, I have earned extensive education, credentials, and professional experience through respected institutions, including Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), and Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®) designations. I also hold an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Finance and International Business from Iowa State University. My leadership includes serving two terms as President of the Financial Planning Association of Iowa. Now, twenty years after my father’s passing, I am honored to continue our family legacy through the resurrection of Conley Capital Management, upholding his values while fulfilling my passion for serving clients with integrity and true fiduciary care. Unlike many firms that impose rigid asset minimums or cookie-cutter models, Conley Capital Management recognizes that every financial journey looks different. As a serial entrepreneur myself, I understand the importance of reinvesting in one’s vision, which sometimes means not having large investment accounts ready to be managed. For this reason, we offer multiple client engagement options designed to provide long-term fiduciary guidance no matter your stage of life or circumstances.

Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, Sean A. Hummel, CFP®, grew up with a strategist's mind and a heart for service. A collegiate athlete and Eagle Scout, he learned early how to stay calm under pressure, lead with intention, and help others rise to their challenges. Those qualities ultimately drew him toward personal financial planning in college, where he realized his natural strengths in strategy and problem-solving could make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Sean began his career with McKinley Capital Management in Anchorage and later joined Merrill Lynch, where he helped clients navigate their most important financial decisions. Over time, however, he saw the industry drifting away from authentic personal service. Determined to change that, he first launched Hummel Planning and later founded Ten Ring Wealth Advisors in 2025; an independent, flat-fee, fee-only firm built to restore transparency, precision, and unwavering client-first guidance. Today, Sean leads Ten Ring with the same intentionality he brings to his life outside the office, where he and his wife, Aly (often with their golden-doodle Avicii in tow) travel the world, hike mountain ranges, scuba dive, ski, and explore new cultures. A passionate archer and lifelong adventurer, Sean channels that same focus and discipline into helping families achieve true financial sovereignty. At Ten Ring, his mission is simple: empower clients to live life on their terms, aim boldly at their goals, and hit the bullseye with confidence.
