About

Chapters to Wealth is a newly formed, fee-only independent advisory firm that provides comprehensive financial planning to individuals and high‑net-worth clients. Its services include ongoing, hourly, and project-based planning across areas such as retirement and distribution planning, estate planning, tax-aware strategies, college savings, employee benefits optimization, business planning, insurance review, and investment analysis.

The firm does not manage client investment accounts, accept custody, or exercise investment discretion; when securities recommendations are provided as part of a plan, clients are responsible for implementation through their chosen custodians. Its planning recommendations are informed by modern portfolio theory and include analysis of mutual funds, ETFs, and, on occasion, alternative investments, with attention to risks such as market, interest rate, and liquidity risk.

What is distinctive for this firm relative to many peers is that it does not offer portfolio management for individuals and does not use percentage‑of‑assets under management fees; instead it is compensated solely through fixed recurring, hourly, or project billing arrangements. The firm’s principal holds CFP® certification and the ADV indicates this is the first filing, reflecting a newly established practice without client assets under management or custody.

Chapters to Wealth

At Chapters to Wealth, we believe wealth is written over time, through the daily choices you make and the habits you form. It's believing wealth is more than just an accumulation of assets. It's flexibility. It's freedom of time. It's legacy. It’s the ability to choose, to give, to grow, and to live with purpose. It’s a story filled with challenges, adventures, and unexpected twists. Serving families, entrepreneurs, and do-it-yourself investors, we offer more than just financial advice; we are a partner who blends strategic planning with behavioral coaching. Your financial life unfolds in chapters, and we’re here to help you author each one with clarity, confidence, and purpose. After nearly 20 years in the industry, I founded Chapters to Wealth because I believe navigating your story requires a different kind of partnership: one rooted in authenticity, consistent habits, and the humility to evolve. I understand the drive to build a meaningful life for your family because I am working hard to do the same for mine. Outside of the office, I am a husband and a dad to two boys. We share a desire for travel, but when I have the choice, I prefer the mountains to the coast; give me a challenging hike over a day at the beach any time. I’ll take a good hockey game over football, and I prefer resistance training over cardio. I also love being in my garden; I’d much rather grow my own fruits and vegetables than buy them at the store. To unwind, I enjoy a home-cooked meal fresh off the grill, then sipping a glass of bourbon (or rye) in front of a fire on the patio.
