About

XY Investment Solutions, LLC (doing business as XYPN Sapphire) provides investment management and financial planning to individuals (including high‑net‑worth clients), trusts, estates, business entities, and retirement plans. The firm offers both discretionary and non‑discretionary portfolio management, standalone and integrated financial planning, and sponsored TAMP services.

The firm’s investment approach emphasizes a long‑term, risk‑based allocation informed by Modern Portfolio Theory, implemented through diversified mixes of mutual funds, ETFs, individual securities, and periodic rebalancing. Adviser-tailored plans are monitored by a designated IAR, may employ third‑party subadvisors or separate account managers when appropriate, rely on documented human oversight of any AI tools, and the firm is piloting a digital‑asset management program using a qualified third‑party custodian.

XYPN Sapphire operates as a corporate RIA supporting nearly 50 affiliated advisors who may maintain their own DBAs under the single RIA, and it is wholly owned by XY Planning Network — a structural model that centralizes back‑office, compliance, and model portfolio services. Notably, the firm offers its model portfolios and related services to other independent RIAs and hosts a small pilot for custody and management of tokenized/digital asset securities with Prometheum, an arrangement that is uncommon among multi‑team peers.

I help people who are near (or in) retirement with retirement income, Social Security and tax decisions, investing, and more. I've been doing this for over 20 years, and would love to talk. Get clarity on your finances. Figure out when you can retire, what you're on track for, how much you can spend, when to take Social Security, how to invest your retirement nest egg, and more. Whether we do detailed planning or you just want to ask some questions, you'll be better informed. We generally take stock of resources like Social Security or pension income, plus any assets earmarked for retirement, like IRAs and 401(k) plans. Then, we review your desired spending. All the while, we keep taxes, investment returns, inflation, and other factors top-of-mind. And we can run various what-if scenarios to take an optimistic or pessimistic view. How do we work together? It's your choice: Do it yourself, or have me handle your investments. You are not required to transfer assets or invest any minimum amount. Options include flat-fee or one-time project work, asset management, and other arrangements. Get a second set of eyes, ask a few questions online, get a quick investment review, or go with an ongoing relationship. With that information, you can make informed decisions. Can you retire early? How much can you spend after taxes? Does it make sense to pursue strategies like Roth IRA conversions (to avoid Medicare's IRMAA surcharges and manage taxes)? Are annuities worth looking at, and should you keep the products somebody else sold you? When it comes to investing, I favor a simple approach. Let's get things figured out so you can move on to more important things in life. Whether you prefer to spend time with loved ones, get outdoors, or enjoy other pursuits, completing those necessary financial tasks makes it easier. I earned an MBA and MSIS from the University of Colorado in 2003 and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2010. I first got licensed with a financial firm in 2000. I also have the Retirement Management Advisor (RMA®) designation. In the past, I wrote as a freelance writer covering personal finance, loans, insurance, retirement, early retirement, and more for 20+ years. Find your advisor

For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.

Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor. We receive compensation from certain participating advisors for introductions or referrals. This creates a conflict of interest because we have an incentive to recommend advisors who compensate us, including those who pay us more. You pay no fee to use our matching service, and advisor fees are not increased because of a referral or introduction. We do not review the ongoing performance of advisors, manage or hold assets, guarantee performance, or provide advice about specific investments.

By using our service, you agree to our Terms of Service and Advisory Agreement, and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Please review FHQ’s ADV Part 2A and Form CRS. Logos provided by Logo.dev
