About

YFP Wealth advises individuals, families, and small‑business plan sponsors, delivering comprehensive financial planning with investment management, standalone investment management, retirement plan consulting, life‑planning engagements, and group educational seminars. The firm generally requires a $250,000 investable asset minimum (which may be waived) and also provides one‑time life planning and speaking engagements.

YFP primarily emphasizes passive investment management, preparing written investment policy statements that address asset allocation, tax‑aware asset location, and periodic rebalancing, while offering active management options when appropriate. Accounts are typically managed on a discretionary basis with custody through Schwab or Altruist, and the firm integrates the Kinder Method (EVOKE) life‑planning process into its financial planning work and annual reviews.

The firm’s client education and marketing approach includes paid sponsorships on its podcast and digital channels, the use of speaking engagements and group seminars, and participation in Altruist’s Model Marketplace — practices that are less common among peer advisors. YFP is also affiliated with a nonprofit, YFP Gives, focused on the pharmacy profession and offers member discounts for pharmacists, reflecting a targeted professional‑community emphasis in its outreach.

YFP Wealth

Your Financial Pharmacist was started in 2015 with a primary mission to help pharmacy professionals on their path towards achieving financial freedom. Through his experience of paying off $200,000 in debt, Tim Ulbrich, PharmD (YFP CEO) quickly learned that many pharmacists were struggling with mounds of student loan debt and a feeling of being overwhelmed and living paycheck-to-paycheck despite having a six-figure income. This led him to create the Your Financial Pharmacist blog in 2015 to encourage a community of pharmacists and pharmacy students to live a life free of financial stressors. In 2017, Tim teamed up with Tim Church PharmD (YFP CMO), to co-author Seven Figure Pharmacist: How to Maximize Your Income, Eliminate Debt and Create Wealth and he then eventually joined the team. Around that time, Tim Ulbrich met Tim Baker, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (YFP COO...that's me!), who had been serving pharmacists by providing fee-only financial planning services. Together they created the Your Financial Pharmacist Podcast in July 2017, which now has over a quarter-million downloads. In 2019, all three Tims joined forces merging the blog, podcast, book and financial planning firm under the Your Financial Pharmacist brand. The Tims also speak to pharmacy school and organization across the country and YFP is a strategic partner with the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).

For advisor listings, we rely on sources including public filings and data provided by advisors, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Advisors are independent and may not have reviewed or updated this information. Please review an advisor’s Form ADV and do your own diligence before deciding whether to work with them.

Advisor matching and introductions are provided by FinanceHQ LLC (“FHQ”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Warmer and an SEC-registered investment advisor.
